At least 3 killed and 29 arrested in late night raids in Karachi

Karachi: At least three people were killed and 29 arrested in different parts of the city according to police authorities.

According to the police, a first investigation report (FIR) has been lodged against the three men by the person named Abid, who claimed the men had stolen Rs7,000 and a mobile phone from him.

A motorcycle without a number plate and three TT pistols were also recovered.

In separate raids carried out by police in various parts of Karachi last night, 29 people were arrested.

The searches were carried out in Pak Colony, Eidgah, Mubina Town, Sir Syed Colony, Ferozabad, Kalri, Baldia Town, Ittehad Town, Paposh Nagar, Jamshed Quarters, Site area, Shahrae Noor Jahan, Johrabad and Gulberg.
