CTD Punjab arrests two hardcore terrorists of Jamaatul Ahraar

LAHORE – Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Punjab has averted a big disaster in Punjab provincial capital Lahore by arresting two hardcore terrorists.

Counter Terrorism Force has conducted intelligence operation in the provincial capital and arrested two alleged terrorists on Monday who wanted to carry out a terror attack on security forces.

Sources told the latest anti-terrorism operation was conducted near Kamaha Interchange Ring Road. The accused terrorists belong to Jamaat-ul-Ahrar and named Muhammad Nazeer and Mumtaz Khan.

The arrested terrorists have been transferred to an unknown location. A number of grenades and explosives were recovered from them, apart from other cache of weapons.
