NS trying to save himself says Bilawal Bhutto

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday addressed a press conference in Islamabad and claimed that Nawaz Sharif was only trying to save himself.

He told journalists that there was no threat to democracy at the moment adding that the peoples’ party would not accept demands from any other party.

Bilawal added that he will not make any contact with PML-N, will not pick their calls or go to a meeting. “They are on their own,” he said.

There should be no role of the military or the judiciary in the parliament, Bilawal said before adding that he did not want to see institutions intervening in the work of other institutions.

Giving his reaction on the Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz’s GT Road Rally, the PPP chief said: “its quite upsetting to see he (Nawaz) is doing contempt of court in every of his speech,” adding, “it appears the contempt of court notices is only for PPP.”

Responding over a question, Bilawal said that there is no possibility of ‘minus-one’ formula in the PPP.

The PPP chief condemned allged enforced disappearances in Sindh.

Bilawal claimed that the Sindh’s accountability commission will be more successful than National Accountability Bureau.

“If KPK can pass its own Ehtisaab Commission then why cant Sindh,” he said.
