Nation will defeat the corruption mafia on 17th September

LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan recently said while speaking to a public gathering in Lahore that 30 years long reign of corruption will be ended soon and the nation will defeat the corruption mafia on 17th September.

Earlier, Khan criticised Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Maryam Nawaz for “disrespecting the judiciary on a daily basis”.

Imran claimed that Maryam Nawaz, daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, is behaving like a deputy prime minister in the run-up to the by-polls in the NA-120 constituency.

He also blasted the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for issuing his arrest warrants, saying that the ECP has never heard a contempt of court case before his. “The ECP is working on PML-N’s behest.”

Speaking about the upcoming NA-120 by-election, he said that the nation has to make a decision if it wants to see a powerful judiciary or not.
