PPP don’t have reservations on building ties between MQM and PTI

SUKKUR: Leader of Opposition Khursheed Shah said that he and his Party PPP don’t have any reservations over the building ties between MQM Pakistan and PTI for the new opposition leader.

Shah also addressed the subject of Imran Khan’s ongoing case in the Election Commission of Pakistan.

“If Imran doesn’t accept the decision then how will the institutions function?” said Shah.

The Opposition leader said that the ECP is a state institution and should be respected.

Khursheed Shah said the name for the new chairman of the National Accountability Bureau has not been finalized.

On Thursday, Shah said that he met Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for the appointment of the chairman NAB, adding that he did not present any grievances before the premier.

The incumbent NAB chairman retires in the third week of October and is appointed after consultation between the premier and the opposition leader, as per the law.
