Ranveer Singh has not only wooed every fan with his latest shots from the upcoming movie ‘Padmavati’, but it seems Katrina Kaif too has been swayed by his charm.
Kabir Khan, the Bollywood director of ‘New York’, ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ and ‘Phantom’ plans to direct his next project as a sports film on Kapil Dev and India’s 1983 cricket World Cup victory. He already has Ranveer Singh on board for the role.
However, reports flowing in tell us that Katrina Kaif is showing interest in playing alongside Ranveer Singh’s Kapil Dev as his wife.
A source said, “So far, Kabir has not locked the lead actress. Two other actresses have been finalised, one is a newcomer and another has been suggested by Ranveer.”
Given Katrina Kaif and Kabir Khan’s great work history, if she signs up for the project will be a great opportunity for the two actors to work together onscreen for the first time.
Ranveer ‘s look as Alauddin Khilji in Padmavati unveiled
Ranveer Singh s first look as Alauddin Khilji in Padmavati has finally been unveiled after both Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmini and Shahid Kapoor as her husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh received attention with their teaser posters.
The story of Padmavati revolves around love triangle of Khilji, Rani Padmini and Singh. Khilji is mesmerized by the beauty of Padmini and it will be interesting to see how the filmmakers depict historical events on the big screen.
The star-studded movie is directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and will be released at the end of this year. Shahid Kapoor had reportedly been injured during the film shooting on sets which delayed the production time. Aditi Rao Hydari will play the role of Ranveer Singh’s wife.
A large part of the movie is still to be shoot but the promotional activities are already underway. Looks of both Shahid and Deepika were also praised while heartthrob has spiced up the anticipation further. The film shoot may be completed within the coming months.
Oozing fierce vibes, Ranveer has still managed to look like pure royalty. Kohled eyes, long tresses and vicious expressions all create the rugged look that was required.
The talented actor did all that he could to really get into the character of Alauddin Khilji – a cruel, menacing villain-hero. He explored such hidden depths of negativity that he actually had to see a psychiatrist to get back to his normal self.
