ISLAMABAD: Minister of State for Capital Administration and Development Division (CADD) Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry on Saturday said according to the constitution, Chairman of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) would be appointed with consensus of the opposition.
Talking to a private news channel, he said the government was responsible to convince its alliance as well as the Opposition leader in the National Assembly to create a consensus of all the other opposition parties.
The minister said the government had given three names for the chairman NAB, so did the opposition, adding one name would be finalize soon.
Many impartial, honest and neutral people were present in the country and no body could raise objections on their honesty and integrity.
He said best person would be appointed Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB), adding Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) had always respected the national institutions and worked to strengthening them.
