PM Abbasi approves promotion of four FBR official to Grade-22

ISLAMABAD: After the approval of Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, the federal government has announced the names of officers who are promoted to Grade 22.

Among them are four officials from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).  Member Inland Revenue Operation Federal Board of Revenue, Ms. Raana Ahmed,  Director-General Post Clearance Audit Khawaja Tanveer Ahmed, Sumaira Nazir and Chief Collector North Sarwat Tahira Habib have been promoted to Grade 22 by the selection board.

t Director General Customs Intelligence and Investigation FBR Shaukat Ali was not promoted in next grade despite his name was on the list. DG PCA Sumaira Nazir and Sarwat Tahira Habib belong to Pakistan Customs Service Group while Khawaja Tanveer Ahmed is from Inland Revenue.

Finance Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, Special Advisor to Prime Minister Haroon Akhtar, Chairman Federal Board of Revenue Tariq Mehmood Pasha, Member Customs Muhammad Zahid Khokhar, Member Administration Tasneem  Rehman, Member Policy Inland Revenue Dr. Muhammad Iqbal, Member Taxpayers Audit Rehmat Ullah Khan Wazir, Director General Enforcement Dr. Bashir Ullah, Member FATE Nuasheen Javid Amjad, Special Advisor to Chairman FBR Zubair Ahmed Tiwana, Chief International Taxes Asad Raza and Project Director MITTS Dr. Zubair Yusafani, Chief Operation Aftab Alam and other officers have congratulated them and hoped that the FBR will play more efficient role under their command and supervision.

Special Assistant to Prime Minister Haroon Akhter extended his greetings to all those officers who got promotion and hoped that they will serve best in favour of national interest and country.
